As a life coach, I come across countless clients who want more peace in their life.
Although the path to peace will look different for each person, there are a few universal themes that help with peace. As with all information though, see if it resonates with you, document how it goes, then course correct if needed.
Things that support peace:
Clarity around what you want – it’s tough to get where we want to go if we don’t know where that might be.
Healthy boundaries – these help with time management and work/life balance time and time again.
Consistency with routines & habits – this builds self-trust with our own brains and it helps us stay in good health physically & mentally.
Saying no & people pleasing – ironically putting ourselves first serves everyone in our lives better since when we are healthy & balanced we show up better.
Reducing overwhelm – I’ve come to hear two most popular words: peace & overwhelm. Reducing overwhelm will massively help increase levels of peace.
Organization – when things are running smoothly, everything is being tracked, stress is reduced exponentially.
Confidence – being sure of yourself and your decisions helps reduce anxiety & overthinking.
Inner alignment – making sure that what we say we want is what we want, and following through with things we tell ourselves and others that we will do creates inner alignment.
Self-trust – when we trust ourselves we have a sense that everything will turn out okay which helps us adjust to the ebbs & flows of life helping provide peace even within chaos.
Slowing down – this one is so crucial I am going to elaborate more on why it’s possibly the best support piece to have in place for a more peaceful life. The more on the go we are the more momentum of energy we have and the more thoughts we think. The harder it becomes to slow down, be alone, meditate, do yoga, have solitude, or enjoy nature – leaving us super wound up.
Energetic balancing is huge when it comes to peace. When we don’t slow down we are scattered, lost, stuck, blocked, overwhelmed (there’s that dang word again). Slowing down, in any and all forms will support our levels of peace because it balances the brain, the body, and the soul.
Hopefully this article proved insightful on your journey to creating a more balanced, peaceful, and fulfilling life and career.
