5 SECRET TIPS FOR ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS FASTER AND EASIER THAN EVER BEFORE!
So many people set goals and they still don’t achieve them. The question is why?
Now, there is a secret to it and that is setting effective goals. Goals that will move you forward to achieve them.
#1. SET A GOAL THAT WILL HELP YOU GROW
Set a precise goal that you want to achieve.
For example, if your goal is to make $100,000 for your new business in 2021, you need to focus not only on the amount you hope to achieve but also on how the journey to achieve that goal will be. Is that goal going to help you grow as a person. If you grow in the process of achieving your goal, then that is a success.
#2. People often give up on their New Year’s resolutions because they set goals that are too lofty.
Try to set a goal that you can reasonably achieve within one year. If it’s something that will be difficult to achieve in that timeframe, you might become overwhelmed and give up. If your goal is something that will take more than one year to achieve, try to set a benchmark for what you’d like to accomplish in this first year, and then build from there.
#3. FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT, NOT WHAT YOU DON’T WANT.
One major mistake people make when setting goals is focusing on a goal that is difficult to achieve which that will make them procrastinate – something that they don’t really want to do. In-stead, focus on something you want to do, something that will make you do things even if you face challenges on the way to your destination of getting it.
Instead of saying “I don’t want to be fat, I need to lose 50 pounds” reframe your goal to “I want to live a healthy lifestyle, I want to live a long life, I want to be attractive, so I will make that happen by losing weight and staying fit.”
People often identify what they don’t want instead of what they do want because of fear. Try to reframe your mindset so you’re not being guided by fear, but rather facing it head-on. If you’re struggling to identify the core of your goal and what you truly want, contact us.
#4. DON’T STOP AFTER YOU’VE ACHIEVED YOUR GOAL.
It’s simple: You should never stop setting goals. It doesn’t matter what your goals are. There’s no life without growth and if you stop growing your life will be an ultimate failure. Growth is what brings you fulfillment.
An abundance of money might make you successful in business, but money on its own will not bring you happiness.
Let’s say you achieved your goal of making $100,000 for your business. You’ll feel a burst of pride and an uptick in energy right when you hit that goal. But then what?
Without another goal to pursue and a daily sense of meaning, you will feel lost. We all need something that we’re going for that will make us grow, expand, learn, and contribute and that’s how we feel fulfilled.
#5. DON’T WORRY ABOUT NOT ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS.
Sometimes we get frustrated if we do not achieve our goals. Frustration won’t bring anything useful! What matters is that you and I grow as people on the path to achieving those goals. What makes us feel alive is progress. By making progress, we grow, we feel alive and proud of ourselves. Remember, growth takes different forms in different people. So, try to figure out what form of growth is most valuable to you, and go from there.
Do what makes you live a life on your own terms – a life that fulfills you.
