Too many entrepreneurs have created a job rather than a business. I’m excited give overwhelmed entrepreneurs the keys to their freedom!
For Overwhelmed Entrepreneurs
Remember, when you first got the idea of building your own business?
Those dreams of having control of your own time!
That excitement that consumed you at the thought of of doing what you love.
The nervousness quitting something that pays the bills to go all in on the thing you want to do.
That kind of worry creates long work days and robs beauty sleep for many entrepreneurs.
That is the first stepping stone that starts many entrepreneurs on the path to creating their own job jail!
What does job jail look like?
- Days filled with things that keep the calendar full, but wallets empty.
- Shiny object syndrome is a constant distraction
- Paralysis of over analysis evaporates implementation and momentum.
- Self-sabotage patterns keep building the evidence of “I can” rather than than celebrating the mini-milestones that create the wins
- Save the world syndrome is a great way for generous people to deplete their resources leading to feeling taken for granted.
- Do it myself syndrome is a fantastic recipe for burnout when the work days start consuming all days of the week.
- Expectations are the perceptions that lead to disappointment and are rarely grounded in reality.
- Stinkin Thinkin is the fixed mindset that focuses on what isn’t working rather than being focused on the things that you want to achieve. No one needs Negative Ned or Nelly as a CEO!
Here are two helpful hints to start turning things around.
- Visions and goals are best when they support your core values and will feel like a victory when you achieve them!
- Tools and Systems are the best way to clone yourself!
