STRATEGIC PARTNER IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
During her 30-year career, Nina has trained hundreds of professionals in the U.S. and Brazil in leadership and communication skills. As a certified therapist and therapy teacher in private practice for two decades, she worked one-on-one with clients and led a multitude of personal growth workshops and trainings.
In the last 12 years as an executive coach, Nina has specialized in developing transformational leaders, and in supporting their discovery in finding the root causes behind the issues they explore.
Nina owned and managed four retail stores on the water fronts of Maui earlier in her career. When she graduated from formal coach training, she became a business coach to leverage her experience to support others. Vistage International hired Nina in 2010 to open the territory of Hawai’i. She succeeded in starting two peer groups of CEOs where several men before her failed, and as a result became the Founding Chair for Hawai’i.
In her seven years as a Vistage Chair, Nina supported her groups of CEOs monthly one-on-one as well as facilitated the day-long collaborative group meetings as the members strategized to solve their toughest challenges. She also supported and facilitated several members’ leadership teams with strategic planning and creating a harmonious, more productive culture.
With her combined backgrounds in business and depth psychology, Nina’s services convey her belief that excellent leadership is built on self-awareness and personal development. Nina has a B.A. in Management of Human Resources from George Fox University. She graduated from Corporate Coach University International (CCUI) in 2005.
Nina is a certified therapist (CHT) and teacher for the Hakomi Institute of Experiential Psychotherapy.
