Rejection isn’t something talked about a lot
Rejection isn’t something talked about a lot or out loud. The words that are used most often are angry or hurt (I use the word sick).
Rejection makes you feel unwanted, devalued, not good enough, and worthless just to name a few emotions and feelings.
If unchecked, unexposed, called out, unhealed or mis-labelled it will begin to grow tentacles, that will weave their way into other parts of your interactions, parenting, workplace, and cause chaos (in my jocker voice).
Rejection can steam from past, current relationships, mother father, relatives, friends, co-worker, and school mates just to name a few.
It can be a difficult thing to get over or work through but I’m here to let you know it can be done.
Here are 5 steps towards walking in freedom from rejection:
1: Acknowledge the pain and grieve the loss
2: Don’t blame yourself
3: Strengthen your ability to bounce back from a setback
4: Don’t allow yourself to build walls (rejection causes you to lack
intimacy with others)
5: Keep putting yourself out there (don’t let fear of rejection stop
you from building relationships)
Once you cut off those tentacles, brake down those walls, you will feel vulnerable for a little while.
Then you will taste and experience freedom like you’ve never had before.
You are a survivor who is able to cross the finish line
let’s run this race together.
If you can see how rejection has stopped, you from getting close to others or showed up in your working life
