We Love opening
When we are really honest, we know to open…
To open into everything that we have not yet dared to meet or let in;
to meet ourselves and others without ideas, stories, wants and needs.
It seems to be such a paradox that what we deeply long for and fear the most goes together.
Truly, we love opening. We know, at least deep and quietly inside, that opening is so good – so real, and true. At the same time we fear to open. To be without control, to be exposed in our experiences of lack, to let go of the power in self-righteousness – to be in weakness.
But if we have ever dared to let go of whatever we were closing inside to hold on to, and instead just opened, we might have experienced that something different than what we feared happened –
we loved :)
And we love opening…
When we live life trying to manage opening in ways that keep whatever we want to hold on to in place, It gets very complicated and confusing and we end up living through mental constructs that leaves us feeling separate and unfulfilled. But when the opening is not on terms of our beliefs and investments in specific wants and needs, but rather merely the pure love of opening, we can reconnect with something much deeper and finer in us; with the beauty and real knowledge that lives in our heart. That is the beginning of becoming whole, of returning home – being one.
