Laughter Live's

We all need to have it inside of us to enjoy the laugh's of life. How will your laugh measure up?
It’s a great thing in knowing that no matter how tough life can get for us sometimes, we somehow can find a way to migrate back towards laughter. Life can really wear you out at times. Can we be honest today by admitting somethings in our life are right ,yet their are other area’s in life that we are still working on. Driving home from work this afternoon, I badly needed to escape from all of the mental stress, I had encountered prior to entering into my vehicle from work.
I decided to go to a few international markets to then pick up an array of items, that would allow this evening dinner to be full of zestful flavors, as well as tantalizing colors of unique cuisine. I had now created an arrangement of taste fit for a queen. I can now openly to admit to everyone in the world , that cooking is somewhat therapeutic for me, as well as writing of course.
I still lacked one element, that would make this evening spent well with my family the best, and that was laughter. What happens when we are grateful, as well as thankful for all that God does for us, yet their is still something we lack within in order to complete us. Well this is how I felt today, yet I couldn’t quite put my finger on exactly what it was I lacked today . It no longer was this empty feeling to have companionship , or possibly just a friend to talk to. I can honestly say, I am facing my season of self evaluation with boldness, as well as the open mind & heart to allow God to work on me, without the distraction of negative outside influences to reel me back to the old me of the world.
No this lack I felt was different this evening. The girls, and I then decided to watch a movie this evening. Although it sounded like just another routine movie afternoon with the family, it turned out to be everything but routine. This particular movie we watched, was a comedy about a man who questioned the idea, of whether or not he loved his wife. He then find himself involved in a series of funny events, that then teaches him the lesson that he did indeed love his wife. Yes their was flaws in the marriage, but despite the difficult times, as well as all of those flaw’s each one of them faced as a couple in marriage , it still didn’t compare to this everlasting love they both had for one another.
While this man was learning a lesson or two, I to learned, as I watched that not only does laughter lives, it still exist during the times of life that don’t seem as exciting, as well as the seasons in life where we feel that God has us at a stand still.
In Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
If we find a way to seek out God in every situation we face in life, not only will our attitude change, but how we feel about the circumstance’s around us that happen from day to day will change as well.
In seeking God first today, he showed me that I needed to laugh again. That there was no need to be so tense as well as uptight and serious, to the point it can then make it difficult for others to be around you for too long. There is no need to worry about things, you can’t change, as well people that aren’t meant to be in your life in the first place. God will not only send new people, but he will send people to encourage you, as well as lift you up, and hold your hand in tough times.
The anxious feeling I had felt all week as well as the weight, I had carried mentally this week, left when I laughed uncontrollable, nearly to the point of tears. It was a clear signal that I do live, I do love, and can be successful in letting go of those feelings, and emotions that try to dictate who I am , instead it’s about what we are to God that matters the most. God created us in his image to be full of joy and laughter. This is why I believe that Jesus place a huge emphasis on us becoming like little children.
Matthew 18:3
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Children that are small and innocent, are full of laughter and joy. Their is a significant quality of simplicity in young children, as well as a child-like eagerness to love as well as learn more, this is the same way God desires for us to be, once we are subtracted away from the emotions of a dying crazy world, we can then laugh and live abundantly in our laughter of peace. I love you! More importantly Jesus loves you and yes he does care.
