This topic was around Pre-Covid but seems to be very popular at the moment!
As a Boomer in a company
Have you ever heard the words?
“We are Reorganizing”
or
“This is Nothing Personal”
And you know it is because over the years you have progressed and become expensive to the company – It’s not really a crisis if you have just left college or are still finding your way to what really excites you as a career because you may be able to go back home or you are already living in your parent’s basement.
But If!
You have a family and bills to pay -
Mortgage, day Care, College Loans, Car Payments, Utilities, Insurances, Taxes, etc
Or Worse still – You have all of those expenses and are one of those boomers struggling to find a job
Whatever it is!!
You’d better think of your options and also how to avoid this happening again in the future. But don’t dwell on it and get all spun up worrying, you have skills, integrity, and many people just like you in the world that are needing your services, It is not as bleak as you may at first think, a sense of calm can come over you when you have got a plan and a plan of action in motion.

It might be time to take a look – So swallow your pride or put your pre-judgments aside. let’s get busy protecting your future
