Failure is almost inevitable. Instead of looking at it as a setback, we can use our failures as learnings.
Failure is almost inevitable. Instead of looking at it as a setback, we can use our failures as learnings.
As Winston Churchill states " Success consists in going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm"
Failure teaches us many things but the greatest lesson to learn from our failures is ‘not to give up’ because we may have failed but we are not a failure unless we have given up!!
You haven’t lived at all if your every step is taken with great caution. That’s not living! It’s called failing by default.
So, change your perspective and read the messages that failure brings with it:
1) Experience: Failure in itself is an experience that teaches you where you went wrong and what not to do to succeed on your next try.
2) Knowledge: Knowledge is power. What you learn now might not be applicable today but will be tomorrow.
3) Resilience: Try and try until you succeed… that’s resilience. It teaches you to let go of lofty expectations and center yourself on the seesaw of possibilities.
4) Growth: It’s simple – the more you learn, the more you grow.
5) Value: Yes, you failed, but the value of that experience you brought to the table allows you to rearrange your expectations and build the pillar of success.
The best way to recover from failure is to ignore naysayers and the doubt in your mind.
We need to let go of our failures to make way for the success ahead because ‘we would only truly fail if we fail to rise back up!’
