It had been a long and eventful day, and both the child and the parent were exhausted and hungry. The child remembered there were two apples in the back seat of the car and grabbed them. The parent asked for one of the apples to eat. The child grabbed one apple and bit it. Then the child proceeded to grab the other apple and took a bite into it too.
The parent was __________. (Fill in the blank)
“Eat this apple. It is sweeter!” said the child.
This story demonstrates the power of PAUSE. It is critical to pause and process each situation, before we react.
