What if I told you that you are already perfect?

That may be a tricky one to accept, especially if you try to be a better human every day.
If you are already perfect, wouldn't you let go of growing?

If you are already perfect, wouldn’t you let go of growing? Wouldn’t it be in a way “approval” of “bad” things about us?
I don’t think so. You can be both perfect and be better every day.
To make an analogy. Consider that you are climbing a mountain. When you are halfway up on your way to the peak, you are not a 50% hiker – you are already a 100% hiker who is just 50% up. Being higher/lower on the trail doesn’t make you more perfect/imperfect. And being 100% hiker doesn’t stop you from climbing the peak.
Don’t feed your inner critic with your seeming “imperfections,” letting it trigger procrastination and an unhealthy sense of guilt. Both will not help you in the long run. If you could be better – you would be. To think differently is hypothetical, and hypothetical cannot be real.
You are perfect, changing and learning at the same time.
Appreciate the path walked, enjoy your current self, and look forward to the trail ahead.
What opens up to you when you accept yourself as you are?
