While many people believe that the objective of any civilization is growth, the majority of us have difficulty adapting to something new. Each individual needs a different amount of time to acclimatize to a new environment, even if it is as basic as learning to use a new tool, preparing a new cuisine, or locating a new bus stop. That is why many people maintain the status quo and find it far more convenient to engage in habitual behavior.
Each individual’s day is composed of numerous repeated acts, such as driving a car, dressing, and eating. The majority of these tasks are carried out mechanically and with little thought. Although automatic operations aid brains in avoiding unnecessary tries, many people abuse this natural brain function.
They establish “cliché” in numerous facets of their lives by speaking the same language, eating the same meals, and shopping at the same stores. Individuals share the same viewpoint throughout their lives. It is obvious that folks live with “cliché” in the majority of situations since it is much easier to do repetitive tasks, say predictable words, and perform the same work every day than it is to exercise the brain, develop something new, and make progress in their lives.
Nonetheless, there are a variety of tasks that demand imagination and the capacity to orient ourselves in novel and unusual environments. Each day, life throws us curveballs, and it’s difficult to anticipate everything. Each month or year, any country’s economic and political situation changes, resulting in changes in numerous elements of life. Individuals must now be imaginative in order to advance, as finding the ideal job or life situations is unachievable in the absence of change and unforeseen events.
There are few individuals that think and act innovatively. The majority of those individuals are great entrepreneurs, artists, or politicians as a result of their ability to properly harness their brain’s intrinsic proclivity for creating. Individuals that are creative and ingenious achieve achievement not only for themselves, but also for the growth of society. That is why it is vital to cultivate a creative mindset and to purge your mind of various “cliche” notions.
To think creatively, the first step is to identify which acts require “cliché” (such as everyday routine operations like driving a car) and which require inventiveness (such as work, business, education, upbringing of children).
Second, approach daily activities, such as work or family, imaginatively; broaden your understanding of your business and experiment with new ways to grow it; and don’t be afraid to put your brain to work, as the average person uses only about 4-5 percent of their brain’s thinking capacity in daily life.
Finally, if you are a creative and inventive individual, you will not be disarmed by unexpected or unusual life occurrences or changes, as you will always find a way to adjust and develop in your life.
