What I wish I would have known at 20

Enjoy these gems! I guarantee you'll learn something new.
1. Perfectionism is the enemy of progress. 90% is good enough.
2. Sunk cost fallacy. Just because you’ve invested time and/or & into something doesn’t mean you should continue doing it.
3. You don’t need to be a morning person to be successful. Find what works best for you! If you end up being a night owl, you’ll join the company of Mark Zuckerberg, Alexis Ohanian, and Warren Buffet.
4. Feel your feelings. Jill Bolt Taylor out of Stanford found that emotions last an average of 90 seconds without dissipating as long as you don’t buffer.
5. Gamify your work. Listen to a podcast while working out, talk to a friend while doing the dishes. Chores don’t have to feel like a chore!
6. Frequently ask yourself, how can I make this easy?
7. People buy based on emotions and not facts. So…focus on connecting and pulling the heartstrings of a potential client instead of shoving information!
8. Find a workout that you enjoy, it doesn’t need to be a workout that’s trending.
9. Wear sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 (which blocks 97 percent of the sun’s UVB rays). Your gorgeous skin will thank you :).
10. Outsource what you don’t enjoy. Currently, I outsource laundry, dry cleaning, and house cleaning. Also, I rarely cook. Do I feel guilty about this? Nope! Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean I need to do tasks that women historically have done.
