Kathopnishad explains wonderful definition about pesonality. It resembles chariot with goal of human life.
Kathopnishad explains personality in a very wonderful way. It resembles with Chariot (Rath). Chariot is the body;master is sitting in a chariot,5 horses are five senses, Rein is Manas, Charioteer is Intellect or Buddhi.
Master may be known where to go, If horses are well trained, the charioteer is awakened, Rein also under control, but chariot is not in good condition. Do you think that chariot can reach the destination?
No. Not at all possible.
If Chariot is in good condition, the charioteer is awakened, Rein also under control, but horses are not trained do you feel that chariot will reach its destination?
No. Not Possible
If Chariot is in good condition, horses are well trained, Rein also under control, but charioteer is sleeping do you think that chariot will reach its destination?
No. Not Possible
If Chariot is in good condition, horses are well trained, the charioteer is awakened, but rein is not under control do you think that chariot will reach its destination?
No. Not Possible
Same thing applicable to us also.
Suppose 05 senses are under control, Mind is in control, Intellect also awaken, but the body is not in good condition means unhealthy. We can not achieve our goal of life.
If the body is in good condition, Mind is under control, Intellect also awakens, but senses are not under control. Can possible to achieve our goal of life? Not possible.
If the body is in perfect condition, Intellect also awaken, five senses are under control, but the mind is not under control, Can we achieve our goal of life? No. Not possible.
If the body is in good condition, five senses are under control, mind is under control, but Intellect is in dormant, Can possible to achieve our goal of life? No. Not possible.
Conclusion: Congruency is needed in Purpose, body, mind, senses, and intellect to achieve the goal of life.
