The pandemic has created more chances for women to be in C-suite, and it’s so great to see that
The pandemic has been a fatal era for women, with low-income, and single mothers. As jobs have crunched in the sectors which mounted a large number of women employees before the pandemic, in the sectors like textile there has been a huge cutdown of jobs.
With this cutdown, we are seeing an increase in the C-suite (CEO’s, CFO’s, CTO’s, etc) where more women are increasing in this segment. More women are moving up the top executive levels maybe because there is a dip in hiring in these times. Companies do not want to spend money and hire new people. Instead spend more time and train existing employees for hire positions.
We expect this trend to continue and as the pandemic highlights the importance of Empathy in the leaders and supporting the talent within the organization.
