Get Unstuck!

Learn to live in the present with coaching and get "unstuck"
So much time I have spent reliving my past or worrying about my future that I totally had forgotten the importance of living in the present. I had never really thought of that, now I realize that I didn’t know how to live in the present until I discovered the value of coaching. I frequently wandered around in my head in moments that are long gone and have passed by. I constantly relived situations and events that I wasn’t happy with and began getting stuck in the “what if I"… Then, I, all of the sudden would find myself in the “what will happen if’s.” That’s the worry of anticipating future events that may or may not happen. Although it is great to “remember” and great to “plan ahead” we cannot forget to “live in the present.” There are things in the past that I would like to remember of course and it brings me great pleasure and lots of smiles cherishing those memories, and it is also good to have learned from the not so pleasant mistakes and results we experienced from them, but it is key to not stay there for too long or become stuck in the past. These things and events have already happened, and they cannot be altered. Then, I find that if we worry too much about the things that may happen; as some of them do, but some of them do not, we become stuck in fear and anxiety. The only thing that is important to remember is to be prepared and to have a plan for the things that present a real concern for us. Always remember to ask yourself when you feel overwhelmed in a place other than the present, “what is happening right now?, where am I right this minute? what is real and actual for me right now?” This will bring you back and realize that you can let a little of what was going on in your head go and be present in your exact reality at the moment. We cannot be overwhelmed by things we cannot control, or the things we cannot change. What we can do is appreciate, enjoy and be proactive to take steps to making ourselves happy at this very moment. Coaching is a great way to reconnect with your present, appreciate your memories when you intentionally revisit them and create plans so that we are prepared for real concerns of the future. Don’t stay stuck; if you feel that you are, coaching can help you become unstuck so that you can keep moving!
