How I Lost Over One Hundred Pounds Using Hypnosis

Like any major habit change, loosing weight seems to be challenging and for many next to impossible. I weighed over 325 pounds from my early 20’s up until my early 30s. During that time, I suffered from high blood pressure, low self-esteem, poor relationships, and the roller coaster ride of yo-yo diets. It was a simple set of self-hypnosis exercises that I learned in my early 30’s that changed it all for me. I had found the secret to effective habit change and haven’t looked back since! I have since trained with some of the best hypnotherapists in the world.
In less then a year I went from a size 48 waist to a size 32. During that time, I boosted my productivity at work, trained for a new career, started a business and started dating for the first time in years. I attribute this success to hypnosis and mindfulness. Hypnosis is simply tapping into our natural ability to be in a focused, relaxed and goal directed state using simple, rapid and effective techniques. To get started, I only needed to spend about 5 minutes each day practicing the techniques and eventually they became an automatic part of my daily routine. And the rest, they say, is history!
My clients tell me that one of the most impactful components of my coaching program is when I teach them self-hypnosis and guide them through brief hypnosis segments towards the end of each session. Hypnosis allows one to access a lot more of the brain for problem solving and it also conditions the nervous system to be more automatic in helping to achieve goals while staying relaxed and optimized. Nascar drivers, astronauts and olympic athletes are all trained to use forms of self-hypnosis to keep their eye on the desired outcome.
I’m always thrilled when I hear from clients that infusing self-hypnosis into their work increases productivity from 30 – 60%. I have even found that clients often discover solutions to some of the toughest problems and challenges that they face in their life or work during the hypnosis segments that I provide as a part of my programs. For example, one client, who at the time was dissatisfied with her career, realized during her hypnosis experience that she didn’t have to re-invent the wheel and change fields entirely. Within a month she had a new job at a company whose values lined up with what was most important to her and she has been satisfied and enjoying her work ever since. She didn’t have to go back to school, take a pay cut or burn the midnight oil learning new skills as she had anticipated.
