Order to Focus

In order to focus on a specific physical task or objective thought process sufficiently, there is a real need to eliminate distractions around us.
What does it take to focus? We live in a time and culture where there is so much noise and activity that demands and grabs our attention at any given moment, through our senses, especially our vision and our hearing, which are the two most prominent senses related to our focus. In order to focus on a specific physical task or objective thought process sufficiently, there is a real need to eliminate distractions that compete for our sensory attention, which is needed to accomplish what we are aiming for. This might be a behavioral discipline that we have to develop just because we have become accustomed to distractions as a way of life simply because it is part of our present culture. Therefore, we may have to learn to create and defend our physical and sensory space, at least in time-based increments that we plan out, otherwise we all become more subject to attention deficits. When we decide and are able to focus, we become more empowered to achieve our goals.
