"Don't worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try!"-Jack Canfield
Failure is what happens to all of us. All people fail at some time. But what differentiate us is what we do with our failures afterwards. If we have awareness of how to use it as a trigger to stand up and keep on moving forward ,failure can be one of the most powerful things that can happen to us.
There are many people around us that can be perfect examples of turning their failures into motivation and success. Walt Disney ,for example, who is well known in the whole world, failed in several businesses before creating the biggest Animation Empery for children in the whole world. Did you know that he had three nervous breakdowns before he created the Disney World?
He recovered, learned from his failures and made his effort a huge success.
Look at Abraham Lincoln! The man lost eight elections, lost his wife and even had a mental breakdown. But still has became one of the greatest US Presidents of all time.
J.K.Rowlling -the author of the “Harry Potter” books ,was living in poverty and struggling to survive before she become famous all around the world with her books! And many, many others important and successful people from different fields of life who’s road to success was full of failures.
The one thing in common for all of them is the fact they didn’t let failure to demotivate them. Instead THEY DIDN’T GIVE UP! Sometimes what we see as a failure is actually new opportunity. All failures teach us something new, as we go forwards our goals .We all face obstacles, we all have times when we feel demotivated . But, if we look at those obstacles not as a thing that demotivates us, but as something that can helps us to learn and to grow- for the most part they will help us to succeed.
Failure is the learning opportunity that makes us getting closer to our goals .It is an opportunity for opening up doors of other good things. It makes us even better, stronger ,it gives us confidence, so that each time we fall down-we get back up. That’s what failure does.
All of my failures has thought me one thing: if I can do “this” and go through “that” and become stronger – I can do anything that I want!
So, the next time when you feel that you fail and when you start looking at something negative, the first thing that should come to your mind is what can I learn from this experience . What can I take away from this experience. How is this experience going to help me to get to my goals.
Remember those fabulous and successful people we mentioned earlier and how they turned failure into learning and developing patterns to success! You can reach your goals like they did! That can be you one day! But it will be you if you’re open to embracing failure, because failure is the secret ingredient that brings us the greatest success.
