Do you know how many people reach their goals? Many people they don’t know what they want, how to get started or have a plan. Learn about commitment
Do people really reach their goals? Some people have goals but many don’t. Of the people that have goals, only a small number of people reach their goals. According to University of Scranton, only 8% of people reach their New Year’s goals. Many people don’t reach their goals because they don’t know what they want, how to start or how to get there. If you know what you want in life, you’re ahead of most people today. If you don’t, you can always start now. Let’s pick two common goals. One is health. A lot of people know about eating well and exercise but many people don’t follow through on it. Another goal is being successful whether it’s success at work, family, business or personal life. If you’re reading this, you’re probably not where you want to be yet. If you serious about finding or reaching your goals, one important way is through 100% commitment. Without commitment, it’s very hard to get to where you want to be. Going for your goals is like driving to a new place. They’re going to be different turns, roads, wrong-turns that happen along the way because it’s a new destination. For any important goal, there are going to be setbacks to getting to where you want. This could be in the form of stress, low self-esteem, relationships, work, health issues, finances or something totally different. If you’re not committed, the bad times will stop you from where you want to go. You have to make a commitment. Commit to finding your goals. Commit to an action plan. Commit to reach your goals by doing what it takes to get there. This is when coaching becomes really important. Coaching helps with information, setbacks, feedback and tools to help you find what you want, get focused and reach your goals. Make a commitment. Get tools that can help you achieve your outcomes and goals.
