Were you good at the matching game?

I think memory games are even harder at this stage in my life.
Do you remember the matching game? I played this game as a child with little pieces of paper. Approximately 20 pieces of paper had a picture on them. There were only two pictures alike in all these pieces. The game was played by placing all the pieces face down on a surface. I would pick up a piece and look at the picture and try to find another piece that the picture on it matched the one I had chosen. As hard as this seemed at the time I think memory games are even harder at this stage in my life.
We are going to play the matching game. Lying before you are two sheets of paper. One is the list of 2 or 3 career’s you have chosen to pursue. The other is your joy list. In this fun time you will take each joy on your list and match it next to the career on the other sheet. An example might be that a joy for you is to carve out toy airplanes out of wood. Looking at your list of careers you decide that a Flight Attendant would not match because in order to work on wood carvings you need to be sitting somewhere that is motionless. Another career on your list might be Teacher and lastly Business owner. Both of the later careers would go with your joy of making the airplanes. You could teach others how to make these airplanes. If you had a specialty store you could sell your airplanes there.
Move quickly through your list of joys and match them with the careers list. Then go through them a second more slower time and really think about if they truly match. Once you have all joys matched up with at least one career – hold tight until next week. If you have joy’s left over – hold tight until next week.
