The Six Strings of Life to Play to Reveal Your Best Melody

You and your life are like a musician and a guitar. Before you play a guitar you need to tune all the strings.
What is the process for any guitar to play a melody?
1. The instrument needs you as a player.
2. You must be in the right state; the song must be relevant to you.
3. Keep in touch with the instrument. Practice playing, and stay at it until you master it.
4. You need to play the melody with passion, energy, and enthusiasm.
5. Feeling good makes everything much easier.
6. Have emotional connections with everyone around you your audience.
Before you play any of it you need to tune all of the strings of the instrument.
The first string is an initiative mind-set.
In the beginning, you have the impulse to play a song. You try your best, and you learn how to play it well. You realize that it’s all about you; without you, the guitar will not play. For example, imagine a string of pearls. The thread that holds this necklace together is the most important thing. You are the thread that holds the necklace of events and experiences of your life together. You need to be there each time; you need to show up for the instrument to reveal the melody. Every time, you need to be in the state of I am, not I was or I will be when . . . Next, you have to choose at what level you want to play the instrument. Do you want to play for fun or professionally?
All the strings of any good guitar must be tuned. If one of them is too tight or too loose, the instrument will not play properly. In real life, you can tune health, relationships, money, and self-expression. Only adjust the ones that are necessary. You are not working on all of the strings at the same time, only one at a time till completion. If you can’t control your emotions, the area you must improve upon is emotional intelligence; if your finances are not under your control, work on developing this area and so on.
The third string is vibration.
You can’t play the song if the vibration of the strings is wrong; you touch them to stop the unwanted vibration and start again with a particular rhythm. Let’s apply this lesson to your life. When you notice something wrong in a particular area, you need to stop accepting things that are not leading to a bright future. You have to get tired of being tired and that is the point where you will decide to do something about it; you must be fed up with the struggle. Once you get sick from being sick, all your concentration will be focused on getting better. Once you get tired of being miserable, you become focused and work your way out. It’s not easy to make a decision because you need to give up some unhealthy attachments. If a friend is frustrating you consistently, the vibration this friendship brings could be wrong. Consider finding a solution that minimizes frustration and maximizes enjoyment, even to the point of finding a new friend. It might be delicious sweets that you love, but if they are not serving your vision of your body, they bring the wrong vibrations because after you eat them, you are upset.
The fourth string is practice.
Keep playing the guitar. When you stop practicing, you lose the skills to play it well. The more you practice, the better you perform. Even after you reach a very high level, you need to practice all the time. Relationships are like musical instruments; they will die if you don’t keep in touch. Some of them take longer to die than others, but the feelings will fade away with time if you don’t connect.
The fifth string is feeling good and being certain of your future.
You need to like the melody you’re playing, it should have a special connection with your feelings. In life, first you need to know what you love doing, what you want to experience, and what makes you happy. Then connect this to your vision of the future. You become happy because things are under your control and you are moving toward your dream.
The sixth string is connecting with the audience.
The audience creates a good performer. If your song helps you and others tune into the vibrations of feeling good, you are not only empowering others but are also being empowered at the same time. You need to realize you are a part of something huge: part of our planet, part of our society, part of your generation, and part of your family history. Your actions today will affect others, inspire them and motivate them.
One more thing: we never work on a guitar, we play it! Enjoy your life.
