The house of Happiness - Live the place you want, as you are.

The way we live our house is somehow a reflection of the way we live our Self. Reflect on the first, and you will improve the second.
It is said that the house is the mirror of the soul. Sometimes it happens that a house, on the other hand, does not reflect at all the soul of those who live inside, and in fact reflects the soul of someone who is no longer there (parents, grandparents, homeowners …) or is the mirror of a fashion that offers a model, instead of encouraging the creation of your own place.
Sometimes it is difficult to create an environment where you feel protected, at ease, calm, happy, especially when we do not know what is the most appropriate environment for us, or why it seems that we do not have enough money, or why we are afraid of change .
Sometimes it is difficult, simply because we do not even know who we are, we feel lost, we feel disoriented about our role as human being, struggle with personal and professional issues and so on. And at home we don’t feel “at home.”
If we read the main interior design and decoration magazines, we will see how several alternative proposals of styles, brands, colors, lines, materials alternate.
If you ask us to think of a dream house, we would probably think of a house with a pool, very large, an attic in the city or surrounded by nature, which will leave our friends with their mouths open.
However, the concept of the house is much deeper and more complex than fashions or the judgment of others.
The house talks about who lives in it more than we think.
The house as a key element of well-being.
A house that responds to the well-being of those who live there in general, besides being practical and functional, must convey a positive emotion and foster a flow experience.
Living in a house that does not allow a positive exchange between people and the environment itself, in the long term can affect our well-being.
I do not mean so much the unpleasant physical characteristics such as humidity, temperature, noise (which are undoubtedly tangible elements that can affect our physical balance), but also the psychological characteristics.
Living in a house that we love, that talks about us and our experiences, tastes and dreams, that allows us to better express our personality, facilitates the raise of self-esteem and self-efficacy. A house where you can take action and where you can enjoy our passions creates a positive circle of opportunity, a dialogue between inside and outside.
Sharing a house with someone as a couple, children, friends, can be an opportunity for personal enrichment, if the home becomes a mirror of a positive relationship, based on trust, respect for time and space of others people.
Otherwise, even the most beautiful house in the world can no longer be perceived as a “house” and can become an empty, unpleasant or even a stressor space.
Objects in the house should provide pleasure and contribute to small everyday joys. If you are keeping in your house an object that does not give peace of touch, sight or smell, it should already be a warning: why am I living in a space where there are objects that I do not like? Do I only surround myself with objects or also with people or situations that I don’t like? And then, do I feel at home in my house? I would like to change my house but the change scares me?
Benefits of Design Coaching
Design Coaching can help people clarify the relationship with their environment and with themselves. Achieving a good mental and physical balance is always possible from within, but the analysis of the place where you live can in doubt accelerate this process.
More specifically it helps to:
-Re-define the interior and exterior spaces to us. Live the place you want, as you are.
-Take the strength to eliminate what is no longer needed, or to place it in a space that does not adversely affect our well-being, without feeling guilty.
-Put our decisions, our goals, our tastes and our passions in the foreground.
-Improve relations between the house and the people who live there, and mainly within yourself.
-Increase the level of self-esteem, self-efficacy, self-awareness and our general level of wellbeing.
Design Coaching is useful for those people who are going through a moment of change, of the family crisis, a duel, for young couples, families and in general for all those who want to live a life focused on a deep well-being .
Design Coaching is also suitable for those who are moving in with the person you love and who want to take advantage of the benefits of a psychologically positive home and prevent future conflicts.
A first step towards the house of happiness?
Take a picture of at least three items in your home that you like and identify (if any) 3 items that you don’t like or that will leave you indifferent.
