How can a Meditation Practice be your Ideal Coach

The practice of meditation allows one to gain control over ego identification by switching to the power and guidance of observation, the inner teacher
Meditation is knowledge through love. The practice of meditation is a fundamental tool which helps one to integrate all of one’s being, consciousness and all of one’s life into a whole creative endeavour. Essentially meditation is the means by which the consciousness of the personality can be brought to a clear focus in the mind/heart and be made to reflect the soul, achieving a realisation thereof. As the relationship between soul and personality is developed in the reflective medium of the tranquil heart/mind, a gradual fusion and oneness takes place. This is the process of Self realisation and connects one to the unlimited source of consciousness, peace, joy and energy within one’s own self. And, to ones true life purpose.
Through the process of meditation on the breathing as the point of concentration, one learns to observe, to become the observer. This achieves a switch-like faculty through which the over identification and association with stressful, limited, polarised conditions can be broken and a new, healthy distance of observation, control and empowerment can be gained. This is particularly helpful in situations where a person wants to change long term, ingrained behavior: by observing rather than identifying, we achieve a breathing space that allows us to disidentify with the behavior, let go and initiate new habits and patterns. Profoundly simple yet profoundly powerful. This subtle means, does however require some guidance and effort but the payoff is so worth it as, once mastered, this skill is generic to the ability to change any aspect of ones personality. It is the fundamental mechanics of self empowerment along the path of self realization.
Awareness is a tangible element, just like the water we drink. Love and Awareness are one and the same thing, two sides of the same coin. Where there is love there is awareness and where there is awareness there is love. Love-Awareness is an element as real as earth or fire, the food we eat the fire which keeps us warm or the water we drink and air we breathe, etc. Awareness is both an element and an energy as real as any other and is can be known and cultivated more directly and clearly by certain methods of transpersonal focus such as through the SLA syllabus. This knowledge and practice allows one to surpass the boundary of ordinary limitation and to transcend life’s circumstance with supernormal creative prowess.
What is the soul? The sun can be seen to have three distinct aspects: the central life or will of the sun to be, its nuclear fire. This is equitable with the central element of the soul, its will to be. Then the heat of the sun, the result of its fire. This is like the love of the soul. The resulting consciousness which pervades the solar system from this central fiery filament and allow us to exist in daylight and be cognitive, think and undertake intelligent activity. This is like the field of awareness of the soul within which it too cognises, experiences and thinks.
Meditation is divided into 3 sections: concentration, meditation and contemplation. Concentration is the willful focusing of the mind on an object. This can be likened to falling in love, where there is an intense attraction and the mind’s willful desire is to focus on its object of love which is as yet a separate thing. Meditation results from concentration and finds an oneness of mind and object, held with in intimate, effortless will. A distinction between mind consciousness and object remains but, the oneness is perfect. This is like being in love. There is a oneness of agent and object, and the object of love is known intimately by the agent. There is still a distinction between agent and object in the same way that s/he is ‘your’ lover. Contemplation / Samadhi is the effortless holding of the mind and object in unity, here the distinction between mind and object disappears and the object is ‘known’ completely as self. There is a real-isation of the subject in the object. You have become the object. This is similar to a life time of happy marriage where the two partners are so identified with each other and know each other so well, that they have lost all notion of being separate selves. If the object of meditation is the non-dual inner peace of one’s soul then one gains an unlimited inner resource in the transformation of stress.
Soul connection is as logical as life. Furthermore, these three aspects of the soul in relation to the personality can be likened to a light bulb. There are now four elements. The electrical fire which is fed into to bulb. The material and design of the bulb, which is likened to the particular material and design of the personality (body, vitality, feeling, thought). As the electrical fire is brought into relationship with the material of the bulb the result is light. The electrical fire excites the material atoms to produce a result through its design: solar fire which gives a field of consciousness in the same way that, returning home at night one turn the light on in order to cognise the room. The fourth aspect here is that intelligent activity which can take place due to and within the consciousness. This is the same as the sun but focused in a specific design. The persona of the human soul fits the same analogy.
The personality then, being water to a large degree on the physical level, of the water element as etheric or life energy and progressively more plasma based through to electrical life energy coalescing with magnetic energy at the soul level as the higher octave of life energy in the etheric coalescing with the physical water of the material body is therefore like a complex biological wet cell battery which is programmable by thought via the science of transpersonal practice such as the SLA syllabus.
What causes the transformation of thought / energy / matter? Thought, being the highest frequency energy of the personality, leads all other energies. This premise has been consistently, empirically and rigorously proven in the work of Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto, in his research with water crystals. Certain words were placed on jars of water and it was consistently seen under microscope that unique crystal structures were formed in the water depending on the word used. (see ‘the hidden message of water’, Dr. Masaru Emoto) This proves that thought can be impressed on water. Therefore energy follows thought. People are 75-85 % fluid / plasma so therefore the strength and quality of our thought and our interpersonal thought exchange directly equate with our quality of life. In the same way that modulated sound waves of words are carried on radio wave frequencies, so the idea is carried on the stream of thought frequency. One can see this clearly in the radio programs we here in the car and also the particular crystals forms in the streams of water in Japan as photographed by Dr. Masaru Emoto. Hence is the science of meditation is of integral facility to the person and moreover those meditative structure which unfold powers of Love Awareness as core means to secure success, health, happiness and meaningfulness and joy in life.
These elements of transpersonal psychology and inner work can have profoundly liberating, empowered and transformatory results for anyone seriously looking to establish a relationship with their own, true inner coach. The approach of The School of Love~Awareness is to empower clients and students toward that goal. A meditation practice learned from an experienced and realized teacher is your ideal coach. Moreover, those who achieve this become integral coaches themselves for other people and can build their own coaching career.
