About Me

I coach people who are transitioning to new leadership roles. I help my clients develop new skills, new time horizons & applications, and new work values to help build their leadership capacity to successfully manage and lead others.

Transitioning to a new role may be a painful experience if this is your first time managing others. Moving from managing self to managing others may seem easy, but it's often one where people trip. The highest performing people are reluctant to change in their role from what worked in the past. In effect, they become managers without accepting the requirements.

Your solution is found by working with a trained coach like me. For example, I can help you learn new managerial values, behaviors, and skills like planning work, delegating work, motivating others, communicating effectively, and coaching.

My journey into leadership coaching started over 20 years ago serving in a senior leadership role where I also served as an internal coach. I bring practical business experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to be successful as a manager/leader in today's business environment. I've coached leaders at all levels, including C-suite executives, blending established coaching methodologies with my work experience to help people succeed in their new roles.

My coaching training was competed in 2011 at the Hudson Institute of Coaching. I am also certified with the International Coaching Federation.

My working history includes working in senior level leadership positions across three publicly-traded companies over the past 30 years. Again, this history has helped shape my passion for coaching, leadership development and team development.

I earned a BS - Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Idaho.
