About Me

I have my Master's in Counseling and 6 years experience as a college career counselor. My work is solution focused helping clients to move forward as they seek change. I connect easily with clients in an empathetic way encouraging them to use their support system. I might assign homework, goals, or readings as the situation warrants it. I often give options of ideas to people and am excellent in offering a variety of ideas where they can turn to in job searching. I might use career assessments if needed, but do believe that clients know what they want, we just have to draw upon their strengths. I give a dose of reality balanced with strategies for finding answers. I work over phone, Skype, in person, or chat depending upon the medium the client is comfortable with. I work with people from teens all the way up!
