About Me

my favorite part about being a teacher is mentoring my students and seeing them grow in their creative process.

my favorite part about being a performer is channeling all of my energy and pain into something real.

i am humbled to have worked both in front of audiences and behind the curtain in Mississippi, Florida, California, northern New Zealand, Tennessee, Arizona, and Louisiana for the last 20 years.

i’ve instructed acting since 2002 and began teaching theatre and film performance styles for beginning to advanced actors in 2015 along with scenography, theatre history, character research, performance philosophy, ritual studies, and theatre appreciation courses for various colleges and universities.

now i share what La Diabla, my evil vocal professor, called *a big ol' bag'a trix* in order to help others navigate the powerful and unpredictable aftermath of trauma, loss, and grief.
