About Me

I am a licensed psychologist and certified professional life coach with 20 years of experience. I am also certified as an organizational specialist (think: decluttering and organized spaces). In 2013, I founded The Rosetta Center for Counseling and Wellness, Inc.: A Place for Health, Healing and Hope. It is named after my grandmother, Rosetta. Inspired by the ways in which Grandma Rosetta gave to our family and community, I often wondered, “Who supported Grandma?” I created The Rosetta Center as a place where women would be seen, validated, and encouraged to care for themselves and to create a life of meaning and purpose.

As a coach, I use my professional expertise and lived experience to help women address issues from work-life balance, stress, burnout, productivity, intersectional oppression, relationships and more. My approach to coaching is to help you clarify what is most important to you and articulate your vision for the life you want to live. I will help you outline steps and create strategies to help you move in the direction of your goals and values.

I utilize coaching strategies and techniques that are a good balance of nonjudgmental acknowledgment of thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a clear focus on values based action and change. I also explore aspects of identity and culture that are sources of strength and pride but might also be targets for societal stereotypes and injustice.

I have 20 years of experience in providing therapy, coaching, consulting, training, teaching, supervising, and research. I have worked in a wide variety of settings and types of agencies including non-profit organizations, higher education, and large corporations.
