About Me

My focus is on the six primary areas of life: mental, physical, spiritual, social, emotional, and vocational. I believe that working towards a balance in all six areas can mesh together to enable any client to move forward in whatever area of their life in which they feel "stuck". I offer a listening ear with encouragement, accountability, and challenging questions and am currently contracted with Restoring Hope Counseling and Coaching in Cincinnati, OH.

I have felt a calling to help others grow since I was in college. This has played out in a variety of ways in my life, including working to advise, mentor, and guide college students and other young adults. I come from a blended family and have experienced the complexity of relationships involved with this type of family for my entire life. I have also had the privilege to raise three children to adulthood, two of whom have struggled with ADD/ADHD while the third was gifted. My experience in working with ADD was extended through my teaching and mentoring college students.

Another opportunity I have had to help others grow, mature, and move forward in their lives has come through leading small groups, pre-marital coaching, and being available to listen to pastors and their spouses as they navigate the ups and downs of ministry. My degrees in Christian Education, with a concentration in Psychology, and Spiritual Formation have enabled me to be uniquely equipped to help others in their discipleship journeys, ministries, and in finding a better path to living a balanced life.
