I know something about stress. I grew up in poverty, surrounded by domestic violence. At 17, I made the decision to leave and never look back. I became an emancipated minor and joined the military, arriving in Germany for my first duty station at 17 years old. From there, I built my life from the ground up.

After 15 years in the military, including a tour in Iraq, I left to raise my daughter as a single parent, putting her through college and supporting her through her own journey. Raising my daughter was unque
