About Me

At 23, my agony began: debilitating back pain.

Then came the journey of endless doctor’s visits, surgeries, diagnoses of herniated disks, spinal stenosis, arthritis, talk of eventually going on disability and being confined to a wheelchair.

There was no solution…just unrelenting pain, and an eventual decline into the darkness of, “I can’t live if this doesn’t stop.”

​Some people lie down and give up in the face of suffering, and others seek. I am a seeker. In my search for something that could grant me any type of relief, I was drawn to massage school. This led me to the field of pain science.

​As my studies began, something miraculous began to happen. Without any outside factors taking place, without any new therapies or drugs, my pain started to abate.

​Simply understanding the mechanisms of pain began to shift the physical manifestation of my pain.

​The power of the mind over the body is simply a theory, until experience transforms theory to belief.

​Yes, we all know that the mind is powerful. But in the hell of your most intense pain, it’s nothing more than a theory.

​Once I began to realize the potential of the brain to control and transmute pain, it led me on a path to seek out more.

So I trained to become a boxer. And I finally made the connection between fear and pain, and used fighting to explore this relationship and fine tune my ability to manipulate my emotions. Over time I developed my own system, using myself as the guinea pig.
