About Me
Over the past 20yrs+ I’ve maintained recovery from alcoholism, moved back and forth across the country, lost weight, dealt with chronic pain, healed trauma, started a business, changed the way I eat to eliminate meat and dairy, and married the love of my life. My ability to make and sustain these changes and help my coaching clients do the same has revolved around how skillfully we work with our minds. I'm committed to sharing what I've learned with as many people as I can.
Since 2007, I have been credentialed as a Certified Professional Coach with the International Coach Federation (the world’s largest professional coaching body) which requires me to adhere to a stringent Code of Ethics when working with my clients. I was voted a Top Life Coach in Raleigh NC for 2017, 2018, 2019 by Expertise.
As a businesswoman I have decades of experience working for Fortune 100 companies, small technology start-ups and nonprofit organizations, most recently serving as Vice President of a global software company for 12yrs. I hold a BA from Hofstra University and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
As a Coach and Consultant I partner with organizations to develop and reinforce strategic thinking, mindful leadership, respectful communication, authentic collaboration, and mindfulness as a culture. I am currently working with Promise Heights in Baltimore, MD, consulting and coaching through The Weston Network.
I have been studying and practicing meditation for over 15yrs and recently completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, a 2-Year Professional Training Program taught by Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach. I am now certified as a Mindfulness Teacher by the University of California Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center. I am also a member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA).
