About Me

I am a farm consultant but specialise in the human side of business. I get excited about seeing rural people succeed personally and in career progression. Problem solving is my speciality.
I supervise farms and recruit contract milkers, sharemilkers and managers, and help my clients move through to the better jobs. I can be very honest about the startling, or underwhelming things under the surface. This is the basis to move forward.
How do you be a good employee?
I moved up through the sharemilking system accumulating capital to farm ownership and know what it is like to start the day at 4.30 am every day. I am an experienced employer and have HR and employment law knowledge. As a conciliator I solve disputes for contract milkers and sharemilkers. I know what works best and can prevent pitfalls.
Young people have challenges balancing personal with professional life.
I coach employers too - there is no course on being a good boss.
I am married with 3 sons and am the chairman of our local charitable trust.
