About Me

I have recently changed the focus of my coaching to working with people who have experienced trauma that is affecting their relationships.

Whether that trauma is from childhood, organized religion, interpersonal violence of any kind, a grief or loss of some sort--anything that *you yourself* experienced as a trauma IS TRAUMA. I don't believe in defining for other people what is traumatic. If it is affecting your relationships, it is *your* perception of the events that led to your difficulties that that causes you to act the way you do, so I do help people with their marriages--but not by working with couples anymore because they each have their own individual perceptions. You have to work on changing your own perceptions before you can confront someone else's.

You have nothing to prove to me; if your mind, body, and spirit (which I believe are all connected) are persistently communicating to you that you are hurting, I am here to listen and to simply guide our conversations in the direction of healing at a pace that you feel comfortable with. The only agenda I have for you is for you to get real with yourself, and to get real with me so I can get real with you. Because I believe getting real about the truth of your life, and owning whatever part of where you are at right now that you contributed to, is the only way to move forward.
