About Me

I am the son of a butcher, yes my Dad was a butcher and my Mom was a secretary. I started my working career at 12 years-old. I have bought my own clothes since I was 14 years-old. Let's just say that I grew up knowing the importance of hard work. Hard work, knowing how to treat people right and being yourself have always been values of mine.

Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less. And to best influence, knowing how to tell a great story is the best tool. Story is in our DNA as humans. I have been in the sales and leadership field for over 25 years. My background includes sales, sales training, leadership training and I graduated from the "school of hard knocks" long before I graduated from college.

Telling a great story is a sure way to increase your speed to trust with customers, employees and in personal relationships. That being said, the reason to tell a great story is to get the other persons story! Listening is an activity that takes great effort and learning how to listen is an area I also teach. It is harder than you think!
