About Me

I’m a career changer, entrepreneur and mother. I’ve worked full-time, part-time, managed a team, and worked alone with clients. I’ve been part of large corporations, start-ups, non-profits, and am now CEO of my own business. I’ve been a stay-at-home parent and re-launched my career – twice.

Throughout my career, I’ve had successes and failures. I’ve loved some jobs and hated others. Early on, my career decisions were impulsive and reactive, but as I get older they’ve become more thoughtful and intentional.

My passion is helping women manage the inevitable career twists and turns. I prefer to work with professional women who already have some job experience (sorry post-college crowd, I’m not the right fit for you).

I love my work. Maybe not every minute of every day, but I am professionally satisfied. I genuinely enjoy listening to my clients’ stories and derive great pleasure from seeing them achieve career change and success.

As for my “resume” background, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, and my Master’s degree from Teachers College with a focus on technology and education. I live in Washington, DC but spend the month of August in Vermont. I have two children, three cats (don’t hold this against me!) and am almost a vegan (I eat eggs).

I am certified in Coaching from the Coaches Training Institute, the Myers Briggs and Strong Assessment.
