About Me
Pooja Bakhai is the founder and CEO of PB Life Design, authenticity coach, speaker and author known for her ability to create lasting positive change in her clients and students from all walks of life.
Pooja’s journey to curing stage four cancer in her own life inspired her to leave her PhD program in Education at Harvard University to pursue her passion of supporting other mission-driven professionals to live fearlessly and authentically.
Pooja’s clients have a history of success and achievement but not are necessarily feeling fulfilled, happy, healthy or whole.
Her coaching is based on the philosophy that you don’t have to sacrifice your joy or your values for your success - that everyone can achieve success in a way that feels energizing and true from within. Her work also honors the importance of healing as a key for manifestation of our heart's truest desires.
Pooja's signature 1:1 program has had amazing results for her clients.

I was struggling with anger issues, alcohol addiction and toxic relationship problems before meeting Pooja. In our work, I have gotten to the root of my alcoholic dependencies and have stopped drinking alcohol completely. I am also able to pause before expressing myself in states of being upset and/or angry which has benefitted my relationship with myself and others. Lastly, I've been able to deepen into more trusting relationships with people through developing a deeper trust with myself. I now have a healthier mind and body, better boundaries with people and a deeper level of understanding of myself and the world around me, allowing more compassion for myself and others. My experience working with Pooja has truly been fruitful, alchemizing and full of compassion with much needed doses of loving and understanding humor, encouragement and wisdom. Whoever you are, and whatever you are struggling with, if you feel drawn to work with Pooja, I highly highly recommend it. She's a one of a kind life coach and person.

when i met Pooja i was struggling with my identity, i was struggling financially, & i was struggling in my relationships. being a survivor of childhood trauma tends to affect one in these areas throughout one's life, & before i began working with Pooja i tended to want to ignore my deficits in these areas of my life as well as their causes. it was so helpful to be able to work with Pooja & begin to address the ways in which my childhood traumas were impacting my life as an adult, & Pooja's lived experience with childhood trauma as well as her wisdom in various healing modalities have helped me to be able to work through my own healing process. being able to be vulnerable with someone who can effectively hold space for, empathize with you, & help to encourage you with multiple different approaches to work through what you're struggling with is so incredibly underrated, & Pooja is a master at this process. it has been 5 years since i initially began working with Pooja & while i still experience my fair share of struggles in life, i am in a much better place financially, emotionally, mentally, & spiritually. i also feel much more confident in my own skin & in my identity than i did previously. i recently became a father & i'm so grateful that i was able to work with Pooja prior to doing so, because i feel so much more capable of being able to work through my own issues so that i don't pass them down to my daughter. Pooja is a beacon of light in an ever-darkening world, & her work with me has been instrumental on my path to contentment & fulfillment in life.

Working with Pooja took me from feeling hopeless about how to navigate conflict in relationships and scared of being alone to feeling grounded, with better clarity about my trauma and where it manifests in my body. I learned very helpful tools and resources - highlighting my inner dialogue - that I can kindly apply to when I notice the emotions shifting in my body. Im now feeling hopeful and confident to step into conflicts with my true voice, respecting my body's needs. My great lesson coaching with Pooja was the understanding that I am not defined by my trauma, and that awareness of what is going on within my mind and body makes it possible to always return to a place of groundedness and self-love. With this knowledge, I can now build healthier, more fulfilling relationships - romantic and otherwise.

Pooja brings to every session an extraordinarily open heart and listens with their full self. Pooja is the kind of person who grounds you and brings perspective just by offering their own presence. You will not regret taking this leap!

I would call Pooja a life saver as much as a life coach. Before working with Pooja, I was in a down place professionally, personally, and artistically and over the course of a few months, the coaching helped me tremendously. I was hesitant about the effectiveness of video calls for intimate work, but with Poojas care and attention, it has been no detriment. Not only do I leave the sessions jazzed, but the issues that were insurmountable and overwhelming shrink back to a rational size. What really makes me grateful that Ive got to spend time with Pooja is how the work with her has led me to accomplish so many things, things I had dreamed but could not get out of my own way to make happen like writing and publishing 3 books in 3 months! A guide, a teacher, a support, a light, a friend. Anybody considering seeing Pooja, do it, your future self will thank you.

I strongly recommend Pooja as a life coach. She is calm, empathic, and completely nonjudgmental. She asks probing, insightful questions that led me to reframe my perspectives in very helpful ways without it feeling forced or contrived at all. She is incredibly intuitive, and I left her sessions feeling unburdened and empowered. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking insight and guidance to live their best life and to work through issues whether big or small.
