About Me

Living, working, and learning within a university environment can be exciting and challenging. Would you like a partner to walk along side you on your journey? Whether you are a college student or a parent of a student, coaching can help you reach a level of self-discovery to move you forward on your path. My life coaching sessions are reflective activities where the client explores who they are, what they value, and where they want to go as they search for colleges, prepare for college, experience college, and navigate their first jobs. What is working? What isn’t working? How can you reach the next level of success? My 25 years of experience in higher education as a professor, parent, advisor, and academic dean provides me with a wealth of knowledge and creativity to draw from during coaching sessions focused on pathways in higher education to examine these questions with you. My sessions will dig into your core motivations, your values, and your assumptions, connecting these to your experiences to better understand how to move forward on your own path. I meet clients where they are, get to know them, engage them in reflection, and help them develop and implement a plan for moving to the next step on their journey.
