About Me

I'm an award-winning former chief marketing officer and work with senior marketing executives to help them create powerful stories for their companies and for their careers. As a marketer, my specialization lies in branding, management, building teams, communications and strategy.

Over the past 20+ years I have held multiple CMO roles and led and built marketing teams at a number high profile startups as well as Fortune 500 companies including Google and PepsiCo. At Google, I built and lead the marketing team that created and launched Google play and all its assorted services (books, movies, music). For my work I received the Platinum Award for Marketing Excellence (twice) and also won a Bronze Lion Award at the Cannes Festival for outstanding advertising.

I have also been an active board advisor and coach to several startup founders including those at Onavo (Acquired by Facebook), Distimo (Acquired by App Annie), and more recently at LimeBike and Zently.

Multicultural at heart, I speak four languages fluently and have worked across Europe, South America and the United States.

I'm considered by others to be charismatic, high energy and a visionary leader and have spoken at numerous conferences including Google IO, CTIA, South by SouthWest, Ad:Tech, MWC, Omma Digital and the MMA Forums.

My passion is to help marketers align their skills, backgrounds and passions with careers that make them fulfilled and complete.

I'm a native European, from Brussels, Belgium and am an avid fan of history, psychology, career management, yoga, cycling and electronic dance music (EDM).
