About Me

With over 25 years in law enforcement, almost half in a leadership role, I have a passion for sharing my experiences with others who are looking to grow (founder of Emotional Edge Solutions). Coaching is not a "fix" for a problem employee - instead, it is for high performers looking to achieve new results. By using the EQi 2.0 assessment as a baseline for our training, my clients receive a scientifically validated tool as a jump off point. As a husband, and father of two teenagers, I also know the value of EQ in everyday life.

I have attended multiple leadership schools, to include the FBI-National Academy (session 274), and National Command and Staff College (session 2). I have a master's certificate from UVA in Criminal Justice Education, and have received a life-saving and Magnus Leadership award. I have also been certified by MHS on the EQi 2.0 (both workplace and leadership) and EQ360, and am trained in ICF standards and core competencies (currently working on ACC).
