I’ve created Ataraxia Coaching because I’ve been told that my unique perspective and insight in coaching young people and adults are life changing.
I coach a diverse spectrum of people, from professionals to young adults and people who are neurodiverse. I support and work with individuals and organisations to bring about positive change for all, I am passionate and focused on:”
Helping individuals achieve their full potential by being their true selves in their educational, social, home and work environments.
Supporting people on their journey to self-discovery, success and and career goals.
Working with individuals and organisations to further understanding, champion inclusivity and embrace neurodiversity in education and at work thereby reaping the benefits that come from neurodiverse minds.
During my career spanning 30 years as a management consultant, I worked for renowned organisations including IBM, NatWest, The Royal Bank of Scotland and as an IT Director for one of the Big 4 Accounting firms, KPMG. I’ve had the pleasure of working with, managing, mentoring, and coaching a wide range of amazing people in an enriching environment.
My experiences partnered with having the honour of being a mother and a coach to two neurodiverse children, now exceptional young adults, means that I bring a unique and fresh perspectives to all my clients gained from years of lived experiences, professional and personal, that have offered both challenges and successes.
I have dedicated myself to working with all my clients to achieve their individual personal goals, to have a sense of wellbeing and to be the best versions of themselves.

"I started Coaching Early December, a few weeks before my Cambridge Interview. Initially, I was battling with imposter syndrome, feeling unprepared and very nervous. When I had my first meeting with Funmi, she took all my concerns into consideration and uplifted me to help me regain my confidence. Funmi was very encouraging; through the coaching I learnt to be proud of my accomplishments and learnt how to become more resilient even in challenging times. I learnt a lot about myself, and by the time I had my interview I felt more than prepared. When I look back at how I was before the coaching and after, I can strongly say that my attitude and confidence has significantly improved, and I have learnt skills and methods that I can take with me ."

Funmi has given me the encouragement I needed to achieve my goals. It is because of her that I feel like my life is back on track and I have been able to manage my mental health better than ever before. Her coaching skills and genuine level of commitment in assisting me to reach my goals is second to none . She has not only helped me through my journey in self-improvement but has also reignited my spark in wanting to pursue my chosen career . I look forward to attending each session. A sense of achievement was a rare feeling for me but that is now a regular and exhilarating experience . I am grateful for her services and would recommend her as a coach.

Funmi is excellent. In a very short period of time we have seen significant positive changes in our son who has ADHD. Fumni's approach is remarkable, I wish we had secured her as a coach a long time ago.
A very grateful mum
I had the privilege of working with Funmi, who without doubt is an exceptionally professional coach. From the outset, Funmi was adept at explaining the coaching process, setting clear expectations, and putting me at ease, which facilitated a highly productive and rewarding working relationship. Funmi possesses a great ability to listen actively and empathetically, which was crucial in helping me clarify my thoughts, identify my needs, and define my goals. Her excellent interpersonal skills enabled me to approach my objectives in a strategic and productive way. More than this, Funmi demonstrates a remarkable ability to grasp complex thought patterns and interpersonal dynamics, offering insights that are both astute and actionable. Her feedback consistently helped me maintain focus, allowing me to unpick complex challenges and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. What sets Funmi apart is her unique capability to integrate practical problem-solving with emotional intelligence, thereby fostering a balanced approach to both personal and professional growth. Her coaching is not only motivating and engaging but also incredibly effective in efficient decision-making and resolving problems in unexpected and profoundly impactful ways. Additionally, Funmi's approachable and caring style, combined with her apt understanding of group dynamics and solid business acumen, greatly enhances her effectiveness as a coach. Her holistic approach to coaching and her genuine investment in her clients success make her an invaluable asset to anyone looking to elevate their potential. Working with Funmi was truly impressive, revealing a perfect blend of empathy, insight, and professionalism that is rare and highly effective. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
