About Me

I’ve struggled with suffocating social anxiety for most of my adult life. It was something I was able to hide from even my closest friends and family. But, it had gotten so bad for me that the person I presented to everyone - including my own wife - was really just a projection of who I thought they wanted me to be. I didn't feel comfortable sharing my own true thoughts and feelings. I felt disconnected, yet I longed for connection - it was a tragic duality. I was in my mid-thirties and I thought, “This is it. This is just who I am.”

But, it all changed for me about three years ago after reading a book by Carol Dweck called Mindset. That book, which is about this idea that our brain is elastic and that we can re-wire the way we react to things even as adults, set off a series of events for me that completely transformed my life and allowed me to eradicate my social anxiety. Since then, I’m more easily able to connect with others, I have tons more self-confidence/self-esteem, I’m able to leave a positive impression on people and, most importantly, I’m able to represent who I really am in any situation.

How was I able to do that? Well, through research and my own experiences, I grew to understand that charisma was a byproduct of three core skills that, when used together, created a magnetism shared by only a skilled few. Those three skills are: presence, eye contact and body language.

I've taken those three skills and created what I call the Core-3 Charisma Method - a training program that is meticulously designed to systematically improve each skill until they become natural. I now believe that anyone can learn these skills if they're motivated to improve their social interactions and have the dedication to stick with a regimented training program.
