About Me
Combining 20+ years as a communicator, strategist and executive, I help talented existing and emerging women leaders lead with clarity, drive growth and results, and maintain balance. I combine my “real-world” experience as an executive with extensive training and research to help individuals and teams articulate their goals and craft pragmatic plans to meet them.
My firm, Bright Blue Consulting, offers executive and business coaching to women leaders and their teams, as well as management training, and strategic planning services to a range of organizations.
When working with a new client, I offer a free initial consultation to ensure that I understand your goals and we are a good match. From the consultation, I create a customized coaching plan that is tailored to your professional, business and personal goals. When I work with leaders, my plans typically include a 360 review and the use of a "Leadership Dashboard" to ensure we are focused on goals and results.
My style is optimistic, yet pragmatic, and results-focused. Most of my clients are self-aware senior directors, Vice Presidents, and C-suite leaders that are facing a challenge: need new skill sets to succeed, received a promotion/new job, gained a new boss or organizational structure, received a less than stellar review, are stuck and need to grow, or are struggling with work relationships. Coaching helps my clients accelerate their growth and achievement of their goals.
I hold an MBA with a concentration in strategy and new ventures from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where I founded the MBA program's first association for women. I also hold a BA in English and Political Science from Birmingham-Southern College and an executive coaching certification from the Center for Executive Coaching. I have training in a number of coaching techniques and am a certified facilitator of "Guerrilla Marketing for a Bulletproof Career." I live and work in Nashville, Tennessee.
