About Me
Nate is from the capital city of Madison, WI. He earned an academic scholarship to the University of Wisconsin to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts and Rhetorical Theory. After graduation, Nate pursued his athletic passion with a brief stint in the semi-professional basketball circuit in the Midwest and shortly after dove into a career in business sales at Wells Fargo, Enterprise Holdings and AT&T in Wisconsin.
In 2012, Nate returned to the academic environment full time, pursuing his MBA at Simon Business School, concentrating in Marketing, specifically within the Brand Management track. While at Simon, he was a Consortium Scholar, a member of the Simon Marketing Association, and the president of the Simon National Black MBA Association (now Simon Black Student Association).
During his business school tenure, he was an avid volunteer teaching instructor for Junior Achievement for the Rochester Public School system, he competed in KeyBank Corporation’s National Case Competition in Ohio, and also engaged in Eli Lilly’s Global Brand Management MBA Summer Associate Program in Indianapolis, Indiana.
After graduating from Simon in 2014, Nate participated in an inaugural management rotational development post-MBA program at McKesson Corporation focusing on developing innovative technology business solutions. At the culmination of the program, he shifted paths into the world of financial services. Between the cities of Atlanta and Houston, Nate was a Financial Advisor and Director of Advisor Development at Northwestern Mutual.
Currently, Nate is the National Wealth Management Advisor Development Coach at Northwestern Mutual in Atlanta. He oversees the training and development program for African American advisors as they enter the firm in efforts for the them become top tier wealth management advisors
