About Me

My work is all about using self-expression to heal and empower.

Managing depression and anxiety since age 13 made personal development a non-negotiable for me. I've used every art form under the sun to express myself and move through difficult emotions for as long as I can remember. For most of my life, I buried my deepest desires and pursued the path I thought I SHOULD take, which always led to burnout and unhappiness.

I graduated from Duke University in 2012 with a BA in Visual and Media Studies, then went to New York to work in independent film. After three years, I decided I wanted to help people in a more intimate, hands-on way, and got my masters in art therapy from the School of Visual Arts in 2017. I interned in a public elementary school and an adult inpatient psychiatric unit.

This training gave me the skills to work with anyone, anywhere to help them meet their goals. I also learned the ins and outs of how and why self-expression is such a potent vehicle for transformation. However, at my first job working at a 183-bed nursing home, I burned out and entered another major depressive episode. I thought I was doing exactly what I SHOULD, but I wasn't listening to what I needed to create a fulfilling, balanced and happy life. So I moved across the country to Los Angeles in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.

Listening to my inner wisdom and taking that leap of faith allowed me to see what happens when we truly put ourselves first and design our lives around our own authentic desires. I began building my coaching business on that ethos and have now spent four years experiencing the magic of transformation in myself and my clients.

I work with individuals and families to communicate authentically, work through challenging emotions and get to the heart of what's holding them back so they can move forward with confidence and alignment.
