About Me

I serve parents, youth, and families in distress. For parents, the issue might be seeking a balance between your working life and family life; improving your relationship with your children; co-parenting after divorce; single parenting; setting boundaries; honing parenting skills; or, any other topic that prevents you from fulfilling your true potential as a parent. For youth, coaching helps kids navigate the challenges in their lives, whether it be isolation, behavioral problems, emotional outbursts, hanging with the wrong crowd, or clarifying college and/or career plans. For families, coaching helps strengthen relationships and eliminate chaos.

Working with me, you'll learn how draw upon your inherent strengths to turn frustration and stress into confidence and peace. Together we will clarify problem areas in your family life, brainstorm strategies to resolve these problems, formulate a specific action plan, and put the plan into action. Along the way I will offer information, skills, and ongoing support tailored to you and your family's unique situation. I also offer parenting education sessions and workshops based on client needs. Whatever service best fits your situation, together we can help you reclaim the joy of parenting!

My passion has always been helping youth and families. I have a BA in Psychology from University of Puget Sound and 25+ years of successful experience as a counselor, interventionist, and therapist. I received my professional coach training and certification (Certified Professional Coach and Certified Parent, Youth & Family Coach) from World Coach Institute.
