About Me

Hi there! I’m Maria, a Dutch expat living in Bangalore, India, and I’m here to help you navigate the ups and downs of life abroad with confidence, clarity, and resilience.

As an expat myself, I’ve lived in 7 different countries over the past 20+ years—each time navigating the challenges of moving, adapting to new cultures, and finding my place in a completely new world. I know firsthand what it’s like to leave behind your familiar life, figure out your identity in a new country, and rebuild connections and career goals along the way.

After years of working through these challenges as a mother, professional, and partner, I became passionate about helping others going through the same journey. That’s why I became a certified health and wellness coach, specializing in supporting expats and their partners. I’ve learned a lot over the years about building resilience, creating a sense of belonging, and maintaining balance in your life, no matter where you are in the world.

Through my coaching, I provide personalized support to expats and their partners—whether you’re preparing for your move, settling into a new country, or navigating the emotional rollercoaster of the expat experience.
