About Me

My name is Lorie Mayfield and I'm a transformation specialist my story begins after I had my heart-attack and nearly died. I always had a goal to become a clinical Psychologist and was working my way upward, but different circumstances happened and I would progress in my career but I would reach a point where I couldn't break through. So I settled for the job I was doing- working day to day and pay-check to pay check but wasn't happy. I was tired, frustrated, overwhelmed and often depressed because I couldn't do what I really wanted to do. See my passion is to help people through healing and so I chose the medical profession. I joined the Navy and served as a Hospital Corpsman, only to find out that civilians don't work the same as military. So all of the skills that I did in the Navy and am qualified to do I couldn't do in the civilian world so I got certified as a CNA earned my AA in Behavioral Science's but found no jobs other than CNA (certified nursing assistant), I completed training as a Medication Technician, Activity Director, and as an Administrator in Training. My heart however is to minister the gospel and I was licensed as a minister in 2007, and ordained as an Evangelist in 2012 but I still was doing what I wanted because I didn't have the certifications. When challenged at a seminar that if I had to move to a new town or country and had to start over what could I do? As a minister every where I went I was counseling people from the word of God as a lay minister, prayer warrior, or in evangelism on the street. When I discovered Life Coach Institute of Orange County it became clear. I found this profession of called life coaching which helps people move from point A to point B- which is what I wanted to do. So after my heart-attack I decided that I was going to step out and do what I wanted to do all along help people transform their lives by spreading the gospel and using coaching as a mission. I almost died without fulfilling my purpose
and plan.
