About Me

Prior to launching Courage to Be Real Coaching, Lisa Knudson's journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Social Services from Northern Illinois University in 1987, followed by a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1991. Over the years, Lisa became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in both North Carolina and Texas for a combined total of 35 years.

In January 2025, Lisa launched Courage to Be Real Coaching, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering clients across the United States to discover and embrace their authentic selves. Through her coaching, she continues to inspire individuals to overcome self-doubt and live lives aligned with their true values and passions.
