About Me

I have a master’s in Psychology from N.C. Central University and completed 140 hours of doctoral training in marriage and family therapy at Virginia Tech. I have conducted several workshops and conferences on relationships and held panel discussions on marriages and divorce. The main focus of my work is on relationship/family coaching and divorce interventions. My status as a relationship expert comes with over 10 years of experience and several publications in the field of marriage and family relationships.
One of the main features of my sessions is the unique ability to conduct two hour sessions for all clients. Unlike the 50 minute clinical hour used by all clinicians, I use the 120 minute (two hours) model which allows more talk time for clients and the relationship coach. When faced with significant relationship issues, you can rest assured that you will be able to make your point and be heard. Additionally, time in between sessions is greater: once every two weeks. This allows more time for practice and homework assignments!
